Itinerary

Day 1Travel to Johannesburg

Arrival at your US departure airport ready to check-in for a flight to Johannesburg. Fly overnight.

Day 2Johannesburg

Arrive in Johannesburg and transfer to the hotel. Our amazing guide will make sure you have a wonderful time getting settled into our quaint boutique hotel. We will enjoy a lovely welcome dinner and then some much needed rest.

Day 3Johannesburg

Breakfast at the hotel. Then it’s off to learn all about the history of Apartheid. We will visit Nelson Mandela’s home, head to the Apartheid Museum and take an in-depth tour of the Soweto district.
 
We will meet and talk to individuals who live in this area and learn more about the challenges the black community still faces today in South Africa. In the evening we unwind over a good meal back at our hotel and reflect upon the day.

Day 4Kruger National Park

After Breakfast we head to Kruger! Enjoy a Full-Day 4×4 Game Drive at Kruger National Park. Begin the afternoon Safari drive enjoying the southern area of South Africa’s most famous game reserves with snacks on the go. The game viewing area is known as the ‘Southern Circle’ and is renowned for its rhinos and lions.
 
Enjoy the afternoon game drive in Kruger National Park and discover the amazing diversity of animals in one of the world’s largest game reserves. Remember to bring comfortable shoes, sunhat, and protection and of course cameras to capture the beautiful wildlife.

Day 5Kruger National Park

Today we get up before the sun! And head out to find the elusive leopard! Enjoy exploring the beautiful natural landscapes of Kruger and the White River and watch the sun come up over the canopy. Then it’s back to base camp for a hearty mid-morning breakfast before we set off again to the wilds of Kruger for your chance to spot the famous Big Five.
 
Enjoy a slow drive through the national park, home to elephants, buffalos, giraffes, impalas, zebras and, of course, lions. It will be an unforgettable day in the wilds of Southern Africa.

Day 6Kruger National Park

Awaken to another wonderful morning Safari and then in the late afternoon we head back to Johannesburg. In the evening enjoy a traditional South African meal before getting some sleep and preparing for our next big adventure Victoria Falls!

Day 7Victoria Falls

Breakfast at the hotel. And then we catch our short flight to Victoria Falls! Today visit the Zimbabwe side of the awe-inspiring UNESCO World Heritage Site of Victoria Falls. Named after Queen Victoria of England by the explorer David Livingstone, these impressive waterfalls are just one of the gifts that nature has given to southern Africa.
 
Described locally as ‘The Smoke That Thunders’, Victoria Falls sits at the south of the Zambezi River, between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Spend some time being amazed by the power of the falls and visit different vantage points to discover the sheer scale of this natural wonder. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Victoria Falls.

Day 8Victoria Falls Private Day

After enjoying breakfast at the lodge then we are treated to a day excursion of Victoria Falls and the surrounding landscape by a local guide. Learn all about the history of this amazing area from someone who knows it best.

Day 9Victoria Falls

Breakfast at the hotel and then we head out for one last excursion to see this amazing wonder of the world. In the afternoon we board our plane and head to Cape Town!

Day 10Cape Town

Known as the ‘Mother City’ today we will enjoy a full day of excursions! We begin with a guide who will take us throughout the city on the hop on hop off tour in Cape Town. South Africa’s capital combines cosmopolitanism, culture, architecture, and the best of nature.
 
With the hop-on and hop-off ticket, we will be able to do over 30 stops to enjoy some of the most remarkable attractions of the ‘Mother City’. We will take the Cableway and go up to Table Mountain where you can enjoy one of the most breathtaking views of Africa’s landscapes. And of course, as always, our local guide will be at your service to help make this day truly special.

Day 11Cape Town

Breakfast at the hotel. Wine anyone? South Africa has become one of the World’s great wine countries. In the past decade it has continually grown to overtake wine production from countries such as the United States and Italy.
 
Cape Wine lands excursion, especially if you’re a wine lover, as this region is known for its award-winning whites and reds, will be a highlight of our Cape Town experience. In the late afternoon we will also explore Dorp Street and De Braak. Then in the evening we head out on the town to do an incredible foodie’s tour!

Day 12Cape Peninsula

After Breakfast, enjoy a Full-Day tour of the Cape Peninsula, a paradise of natural beauty, vineyards and coastal seal and penguin colonies! This incredible wonder is not to be missed. Enjoy the delights of the Cape Peninsula including Clifton, Camps Bay, Llandudno and the amazing Twelve Apostles.
 
Pass through Noordhoek and see the local ostriches before visiting the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point. Fall in love with the Penguin Colony and Boulder’s Beach and Simons Town, and meander along Muizenberg Beach and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.)

Day 13Cape Town

Breakfast at the hotel. On our final day in Cape Town, we head out to meander through the city one last time in the morning before going to Robben Island! Finally we all get to enjoy a sunset cruise to end our amazing vacation!
